1)      In today's ever-evolving society, it is important for every Victorian to be global-minded to stay in touch with new trends. If one does not keep track of what is happening around the world, he will not lose his competitive edge. Secondly, if a Victorian is global-minded, he will be able to experience different cultures and ways of life and is able to broaden his perspectives.

2)      Global-mindedness can be evident to our friends if we discuss with them about the latest trends an events. Not only will this show our sense of global-mindedness, we would also be able to know other people's perspectives and how they view things.

3)      I feel that best fosters development of global-mindedness in a person is that he understands the need to be global- minded. If a person understands the importance of being global minded, he will work to develop that sense of global-mindedness. However, if he does not understand the importance, regardless of what is done to help him, global-mindedness cannot be developed. Schools should aim to develop a sense of global-mindedness in students to better prepare them for the future.

4)      I agree with the author of the comment. Global-mindedness is more than just knowing about different cultures from around the world, it is also about accepting them. A global-minded person would be able to understand and respect other people's way of life. Knowing how other people think, work and live would also allow a global-minded person to improve his method of thinking working and living.
