3B: Ryan Lo (21)

In this world filled with billions of people from all sorts of walks of life , it is so relevant for every victorian to be global-minded. we need to develop our interaction skills  especially with foreigners and be involved in opportunities that will enhance our global-awareness.

Global-mindedness in me may be evident to my friends as I travel to many countries for competitions, and thus I would be able to meet many friends of different cultures and religion. This develops my interaction skills as I am able to communicate and interact with  foreigners.

I feel that news, school or cca programmes  do play a part in developing global mindedness. However, it is the person's character that ultimately enhances learning.

I agree with the author's comment that a global mindset combines an openness to and awareness to diversity across cultures and the need to respect other cultures, but it takes an open mind and a submissive heart to do so.
